West Coast Brew Festival 2012

West Coast Brew FestivalYou don’t need to check the local news for weather.  For more than a decade, the West Coast Brew Festival has slowly but surely evolved into the precursor to Summer in Sacramento.  More often than not, this venerable brew festival has brought the Summer heat with it.  One week, it’s mid 70′s.  Then the West Coast Brew Fest comes around and you can almost count our area’s first 90°F day.

10 GREAT THINGS about the WEST COAST BREW FEST

  1. Easy to get to by bike for locals with PLENTY of free bike parking
  2. When the rest of Sacramento hits 90, West Coasters enjoy the Delta Breeze on the River
  3. Tokenless brews
  4. Plenty of food, cigars and live entertainment
  5. So much great beer, so little time
  6. Excellent security, never have we seen any issues requiring police
  7. Well staffed with volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly
  8. The line moves faster than you’d think
  9. Hot weather brings out bikinis and board shorts
  10. Early bird tickets are only $35!
