What's really going on? As most of you know, the Alpine lifestyle plays a huge role in what Sacvibe promotes during winter and spring, so we track weather systems very carefully and NEVER rely on what the talking heads say on television, but instead, use Unisys' stationary satellite 22,000 miles above the equator and focused on the United States. So what's in store this weekend? We say rain thru Saturday with lots of new snow above 7,000 feet just in time for Spring ski season! The Nat'l Weather Service put out a Winter Advisory for Saturday with winds up to 50 MPH at the peaks. Wherever you go, stay warm, this system hails from way up north around Alaska.

The Eagles are one of those bands whom need no introduction (as if Dave Matthews Band did). A few months ago, Eagle's guitar player, Timothy B. Schmidt, played The Crest downtown to a packed house. He wrapped things up by saying, "I'm coming back to Sacramento with another band in April." The audience erupted with laughter and applause as this could only mean one thing, The Eagles would be here.
