Sacramento's biggest and best brew festival goes down at Miller Park Saturday at high noon for the VIP oopening and 1pm for general admission. It's without any hesitation that one can call this brewfest the biggest because at 3,000 heads, it's a fact. The term best is obviously a bit more subjective, but because it's on the idyllic Sacramento river, under enormous shade trees with a gentle Delta breeze, hosts live rock music, is dog friendly, kid friendly and just plain friendly, (yours truly has been going since 2004 and I've never seen a fight), it's just about as good as it gets in Sacramento.
Below is a colleciton of Sacvibe's photos put together in a 3 minute montage that helps explain how this tokenless brewfest, known as The West Coast Brew Fest, goes down. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Today is the last day you can buy tickets online and save $5.00 off the door fee. As always, this event will sell out, so if you don't pay attention, you'll join the group of losers who show up late, around 2pm, and are turned away with cash in hand. (SacPress.com story).
