Gwen Stefani kicked off her US Harajuku Lovers Tour in Sacramento on Sunday night in front of a full house - 17,000 fans. Yeah, we know she played a few shows prior, but according to Her Majesty, this show was the first to have all the production behind it which helps explain why it was part fashion show, part dance show, party light show but of course, all Gwen Stefani. What, you didn't go? Well that explains it.
Its not complicated. Your girlfriend has been upset with you recently and you're clueless. Hmmm. Remember the link she emailed you in Septmeber called: Gwen Stefani: US Tour Dates? Then there was the text she sent the very the next day asking if you saw the website. You said "Yeah," and you even lied about that.

Your now soon to be ex girlfriend is not really talking much and she's sad because she realizes her boyfriend is a clueless moron. Trust me, she's leaving you, and her new boyfriend is so cool, he already nabbed tix to the Gwen Stefani show in Oakland on December 1.
It's a little drive, but that's how much she loves Gwen Stefani and that's how hot he is for your ex girlfriend. And besides, they both want to get away from Sacramento for a minute and chill. He'll be showing her how cool he is navigating the streets of San Francisco after the show because they're not coming straight home.
Now it's all coming back. When was the last time you took your girl to a live concert? And no, a free concert in the park or some local cover band at (fill in with any local club) doesn't count. And if you think she's having fun at karaoke night at the Pine Cove - you're fooling yourself.
And when was the last time you took her to the Bay Area? Now you're saying "Oh shit, he's right." Problem is, nobody is listening to you in your moment of clarity. You've just had an epiphany, but it's too late, or is it?
All may not be lost. Call her up, email her, text her or better yet - go to her house and tell her that you're taking her to see Gwen Stefani in Oakalnd. And if that's not good enough, do the Vegas! Okay, enough help for the dorks... on with the show.
Gwens super dynamic performance was flawless and her dance entourage included four "harajuku" girls and four guys who kept the energy level high on stage and helped make this show a true performance spectacle. The sound was great and even though it was tough being a dude in a sea of women screaming, "I ain't no holla back girl..." somebody had to do it.
If there were any doubter that Gwen couldn't pull off her own tour AND sell out arenas, they weren't at the show. All of you who went just helped make Sacramento a stronger stop for other major acts and you know Sacvibe.com will be the first to post up new concerts.
