The “Loudest Show on Snow,” comes back to Lake Tahoe for second year in a row

Last year, this event had different sponsors, but the main thing was that it was never dKing of the Mountain: Squaw Valley 2008one before. Touted as the “Loudest Show on Snow,” the Honda Ski Tour made it’s debut and ended by slamming into Squaw Valley with Simon Dumont taking the big win and a free Honda SUV when it was all over. At night, it was all about good vibes with George Clinton,

Pro riders compete for a grab at the $250,000 purse by day, and top music acts entertain the masses by night.

Now that the ESPN Winter X Games 12 is in the books, (Shaun White did not revenge last years “loss,” losing out to shred-celeb Andreas Wiig, it’s time plan the trip to Squaw Valley and celebrate mountain culture with the best athletes, bands and Djs in the country.

Olympic Gold medallists Hannah Teeter, Ross Powers and Simon Dumont (Defending Champ) will all be there. So will a slew of World Champions, National Champions and World Cup titleist with $250,000 up for grabs. Events are the adrenaline based Snowboard Cross, Ski Cross, and Ski and Snowboard Half Pipe competitions.

Friday and Saturday nights will be equally exciting as Squaw Valley also hosts a national acts including the return of DJ Logic at Zenbu, The Roots, The Chrystal Method, Pepper and more!

Bring your bikinis and shorts too because after a long day of hitting the slopes, nothing feels as good as hitting the heated pool and spas. A great way to relax after the day and get ready for the night is the fashion show inside Cafe Balboa (get there early for good seating), then take a dip in one of the many spas located just outside the venue.
