Sacvibe.com was launched in 2002 and generates over 1 million page views per year. While there are many websites that promote entertainment, they either publish every silly event, or the “wrong” ones. Sacvibe’s quality control targets the 21 - 45 demographic, a wide one, but one that is attainable. In 2004, Sacvibe.com was purchased by DJ Rigatony who continued the basic format of covering the local night club scene in Sacramento. However, about a year later, Sacvibe.com was sold to a partnership that extended coverage from Sacramento’s night club scene to concerts, special events and eventually Lake Tahoe. Sacvibe.com has always gone to great lengths to use the professional photographers and editing. For the first 4 years, all photos were taken by the webmaster, who continues to serve as the photo editor, webmaster and publisher. Sacvibe expanded it’s scope of coverage to include San Francisco and events as far away as Mammoth, CA. Some examples include brew festivals, music festivals, snowboard events such as The Van’s Cup, and the infamous San Francisco Love Parade. Sacvibe works directly with major event promoters such as Live Nation and Another Planet and has been targeted by numerous local promoters to market special events such as the Easyriders V-Twin Bike Show Tour, The Block Party (South Lake Tahoe), and has worked with national publishers creating high impact visuals for print and web. The latest move at Sacvibe.com is the preparation of a mobile marketing platform that will be announce in the next several weeks. This new platform will allow subscribers to stay abreast with late breaking entertainment specials and incentives as well as allow Sacvibe to gauge user interest in various activities to help us craft the best local marketing company in Sacramento.
