HarNoxNorCal’s HardNox To Play Sold Out Show
Brotherly MC duo signs to label and heads to Sacramento May 4

The first gig we did with HardNox was an informal tour around Lake Tahoe in the summer of 2004.  When all was said and done, they got booked at MontBleu’s showroom where they opened for E 40, and the nightclub, Blu.  Before that, they performed at Squaw Valley’s only nightclub, ZenBu where local ladies went nuts on the dance floor for tunes like “White Girl Who Can Dance.” Eventually, they became a regular with DJ Slick D on New Year’s Eve at Hard Rock on Stateline. Squaw Valley Hosts Jeep King of the Mountain Feb 8 - 11

The “Loudest Show on Snow,” comes back to Lake Tahoe for second year in a row

Last year, this event had different sponsors, but the main thing was that it was never dKing of the Mountain: Squaw Valley 2008one before. Touted as the “Loudest Show on Snow,” the Honda Ski Tour made it’s debut and ended by slamming into Squaw Valley with Simon Dumont taking the big win and a free Honda SUV when it was all over. At night, it was all about good vibes with George Clinton,

Pro riders compete for a grab at the $250,000 purse by day, and top music acts entertain the masses by night.

Now that the ESPN Winter X Games 12 is in the books, (Shaun White did not revenge last years “loss,” losing out to shred-celeb Andreas Wiig, it’s time plan the trip to Squaw Valley and celebrate mountain culture with the best athletes, bands and Djs in the country. Full Story »

Born Zach Sciacca, DJ Ztrip played Sacramento in 2005 at Harlows. Sacvibe got a call from a promoter/friend in Tahoe. “Hey, we’re coming to Sacramento for ZTrip at Harlows, can you meet up?” Not really knowing who this Ztrip was, but trusting the judgement of the promoter (2008 X Games hostess), we made tracks and hooked up for what has gone down in Sacvibe history as one of the most memorable DJ sets ever experienced right up there with Grand Master Flash, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold and Mix Master Mike.
